KKF-Gesellschaft UG is developing an innovative system of sustainable bio-based adhesion promoters and paints based on liquid cellulose. Partners in the cooperation project are the Bauhaus University Weimar (coordinator) and Sieder GmbH Plauen. The aim is to develop paints without petroleum-based polymers on the basis of bacterial nanocellulose; they should also contain no toxic biocides. These bio-paint systems can be used on damp substrates with varying moisture levels.

Together with the Bauhaus University Weimar, we are developing biocellulose-based superplasticizers for calcium sulphate binders as part of a "Thüringen Verbund Dynamik" project (GypsumFlow). In this project, our aim is to apply anionic liquid cellulose as a superplasticizer. The project, which is funded by the State of Thuringia, is co-financed by the European Union.

In accordance with the consulting guideline of the Free State of Thuringia, the company receives funding to increase its performance and competitiveness through consulting by independent management consultants - intensive consulting and process support.
